RNC Investigating Early Morning Gunfire in St. John’s

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a weapons offence following an early morning shooting in the capital city.

At approximately 4 a.m. today, patrol officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Druken Crescent area. Upon arrival, officers discovered that multiple rounds had been fired at a residence, causing damage to the property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The RNC believes the incident was targeted in nature and may be connected to a separate shooting that occurred in the same neighbourhood over the weekend. Both cases remain under active investigation.
